New Superversive SF Post: Which Wright is Right

I have a new Superversive post up! This is part 1 of a 2 part series in which I argue that “Pale Realms of Shade” by John C. Wright is superior to “One Bright Star to Guide Them” by John C. Wright. In part 1 I make the case that “One Bright Star” has serious flaws.

As always, feel free to comment here, there, or both if you’re so inclined.

  1. I think you’re just biased because Pale Realms is outright Catholic Theology porn. 😉 lol

    • This is true! It’s one of the best fictional portrayals of Purgatory I’ve ever seen, and the only time I’ve ever seen the idea of Purgatory being joyful presented convincingly.

I’ll get into all that later, though.

I wrote a review of OBS early on, though. I feel now like I did then, though on reflection I don’t think I hashed out my feelings correctly on the original review.
