Pay no Attention to that Gay Man Behind the Curtain

“His Last Vow” won best actor, supporting actor, outstanding music composition, and writing.

“The Normal Heart”, a gay romance movie, won best overall.

Nothing political about that, of course!

  1. GoldRush Apple says:

Not surprising at all. Most of these entertainment ceremonies pick the politically correct winner when it comes to “overall” or “BP” slots. What won BP in the last Oscar ceremony? Yep … Who won Best Supporting Actress as the Oscars? Yep … Not only that, but a good majority of the nominations (Oscars at least and other major movie awards) can be predicted as early as September. Best of the best? No way – it’s a small group of actors and movies in the pool of potential nominees. It’s a somewhat fixed road to the red carpet.

  2. Well, of course Sherlock is awesome… Gah. Hypocrites, really. (Martin Freeman is AMAZING.)
